A correction
A wrong codepoint or shortcode, a meaning that does not match how people actually use the emoji, a cultural reading that is off, a broken page. Send the URL and what is wrong. Names and keywords come from Unicode CLDR — if those look wrong they are probably right, and we should be explaining the difference better. Tell us anyway.
A missing emoji
The catalogue is complete through Unicode 17.0. New emoji arrive with each Unicode release and we add them as they land. If something is genuinely missing rather than merely new, we want to know.

Emoji artwork belongs to the platform vendors who drew it, and names and keywords derive from Unicode CLDR. If you believe something here infringes your rights, send the URL, what the material is, and enough detail to identify the claim — see also our terms.

The honest answer is that there is very little to request: no accounts, and the usage counters store no IP address, user agent, cookie or session identifier. What is and is not collected is set out in the privacy policy.

Why does this emoji look different on my phone?
An emoji is a character, not a picture. Unicode defines what it is; Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung and WhatsApp each draw their own, and those drawings are their property. Where the difference changes the meaning rather than just the style, the emoji's page says so.
Your emoji count doesn't match the one I saw elsewhere.
Counts differ because sources disagree about what to count. Plenty of emoji are sequences — a person, a zero-width joiner, a profession, a skin tone. We treat skin-tone variants as belonging to their base emoji rather than as separate entries, so browsing stays legible. They are still there and still searchable.
Can I close my account or get my data deleted?
There are no accounts, so there is nothing to close. The usage counters store no IP address, user agent, cookie or session identifier — there is genuinely very little to request. What is and is not collected is set out in the privacy policy.
Is the meaning on a page from Unicode, or from you?
Both, and the split matters. Codepoints, sequences, CLDR short names and keywords come from Unicode and are authoritative. The explanations, usage notes and relationships between emoji are our own editorial work — so those are the ones that are ours to get wrong and ours to fix.
