How this is worked out

Every emoji description on EmojiHexa records the colours the artwork is drawn in. Those notes are folded into the fifteen colours above, so an emoji described as “golden-brown” lands under Brown and one described as “navy” lands under Blue. An emoji can wear several colours and appears under each of them. Skin-tone variants are left out, since they carry the same artwork as the emoji they come from.
